AGM UPDATE 2 - Committee expands

Following the 2015 AGM we're delighted to inform you that your club committee has seen an injection of new blood, and now represents a wide range of areas and interests, from social to junior, legal, professional and much more!

The main club positions remain unchanged, with Scott Parkinson continuing in his role as Chairman. He will be ably deputised by Vice Chairman Martin Deegan, who has of course also just launched the successful Phoenix Bat Service company - we urge club members to take advantage of Martin's expertise and great rates! Clive Brooks and Paul Meehan will also continue in their roles as Club Treasurer and Club Secretary, respectively.

Kieran Coe of course continues to reprise his role as Club Development Officer - if there's anyone working harder for any club anywhere in England, we'd love to hear from them (apart from you, Clive!). Scott has also taken on the role as Club Welfare Officer, and will receive input from rounders captain and fellow welfare officer Kate Caldwell. Morar Ashburner will continue to represent the junior division.

The general committee has seen its numbers swelled with a couple of new faces. Mick Durrans, who will also jointly vice captain the 2nd XI in 2015, has stepped up and will bring a new dimension and 2nd XI perspective to the table, while Denise Hall, who runs the successful 20/20 Totty Tigers outfit and has been involved in many aspects of club development in the past couple of years, is also a welcome addition. Mike Watts, Duncan Phillips, club president David Nuttall, and Iain Gartside complete the group.

As ever your committee remains dedicated to ensuring the club continues to flourish and develop as one of the fastest growing clubs in the region. With a newly launched U11s, a women's division featuring international, overseas and county stars, a planned extension, the return of Tottington's Big Day Out and much more coming up this year, we hope you'll continue to offer your committee every support.
