NMCL HONOURS NEV AND 2S

It was an emotional final presentation night for the NMCL on Friday November 13th. The Totts boys turned out in force to see Watty collect the Division 3 title trophy - the first time any TSJ side has won back to back promotions (though of course several previous teams have won back to back titles). Congratulations were also due to "Mother" Kath Brooks who yet again won the 1st Division Scorer award. However the proudest moment of the night probably belonged to the Brooks family as Neville was rewarded for his 60 years of service to local sport. With a combined 110 years representing Tottington cricket sides (plus decades of support and scoring from Kathleen), the Brooks legacy will live long in the area - Neville will forever be known for his magnificent 93 wickets in one season, a record which will now stand ad infinitum!
