Tottington St Johns Cricket Club, part of Tottington Sports Club, is proud to celebrate its 125th anniversary in 2012

After the roaring success of the Man Yuen event, the second major occasion in our 125th year is the Olympic-themed gala fun day at Crompton Meadows, Beryl Avenue, Tottington on Sunday September 2nd. This is an event for all the family, with activities, events, fun, mayhem and stuff for all ages, from toddlers to Duncan!

With scheduled events running through the day, there's a chance to take part in challenges, races, throwing and other competitions, or why not try your hand at beating the goalie, splatting the rat or just come down and mingle with friends and family, enjoy a drink or two from our bar, and have a hot dog or burger from the BBQ?

The wide range of entertainments and events include:

  1. Coconut shy
  2. Bouncy castle
  3. Welly throwing
  4. Cricket – hit the wicket
  5. Splat the rat
  6. Sponge the idiot – stocks for water sponge throwing at local personality
  7. Beat the keeper
  8. Tombola / stalls
and there will also be events such as:
  1. Egg and spoon
  2. Sack race
  3. Sprints
