2026 SATURDAY FIXTURES CONFIRMED
The GMCL have now officially confirmed the divisional structure for Saturday games in 2026. This involves a couple of surprises - one definitely pleasant, the other will depend on your point of view!
Following the withdrawal of teams within the pyramid, our 1st XI have had a reprieve from their 2025 relegation and will again be competing in the GMCL Division 2. With last season's late arrival Mike Burns in the pro spot, and other new arrivals in place, we'll be looking to push on from last season and once again be competitive at the top end of the division. Our 2nd XI have been somewhat reshuffled amongst the pack, with a new structure for Division 6, and a raft of Oldham sides to commpete against. Those members who have been at the club since our NMCL days will note a reacquaintance with old adversaries Springhead and Glodwick alongside a group of familiar local opponents.
