2NDS WIN WITH TOP ALL ROUND PERFORMANCE

After the 1sts poor defeat to Ashton the day before, there was better news on Sunday as the 2s defeated Walshaw on their own patch. There were excellent batting performances from George Greene (53) and Dan Ashburner (41), with able support from John Downey. On the bowling front, skipper Sail captured another 5 wicket haul, ending with 5-46, while praise should also be given to Farhan, Rob Holt and Ry Marsh, who cleaned up the final batsmen with a terrific yorker to seal the 5 points.
