TRIPLE WIN ON BANK HOLIDAY WEEKEND

1st team Sat v Ashton Ladysmith – Totty batted first – KC and nick put on 50, Duncan and Nick took it to 70 for 1 (Nick got 51) then the middle order collapsed: last wicket stand of 28 between Danny Ash and Dicky P took us to 133. Regular wickets put them under pressure with Asif taking 5 again. Two catches from KC got rid of 2 danger men and they were all out for 95.

2nd team v Ashton – batted first and got 188 thanks to 46 from George Green, 40 from Adrian Campbell and some lusty blows from Ryan Marsh. Wickets were spread evenly with Rob and Sail being the pick – Ashton all out some way short!

1st Team Sunday v Westleigh in cup – batted first and posted 206 in 40 overs – KC 38, Russ 46, Si Marsh (league’s best No 7) 53 no – and Ryan Marsh with 26 no – including a straight six off Ralphy and another 6 that went OVER the lines! WLMCC started well with Scott Ralph hitting 49 – but Totty took regular wickets – Russ 5 fer with Nick, Ian Hayes and Rick carr chipping in. They were around the 130 mark all out.
