Boxing Day Game Set to be Snowy! UPDATED CHRISTMAS EVE

The heavy snowfall this week has raised expectations that the first ever Boxing Day cricket match to be staged at Crompton Meadows will be played in the snow. This is obviously very exciting news for all concerned, and should form a beautiful backdrop to this festive event.

Some very hard work was carried out on Christmas Eve with a good crew down to shift snow off the wicket and get preparations ready for the big event. Some photos are shown below! Thanks to Matt, Paul, Kieran, Dasher, Andy and Scott (and some local lads and lasses) for their efforts!
