The TSJCC women's side is currently not playing. In many ways we became victims of our own great success, with a number of players going on to play for Lancashire at both senior and age group levels, and others now regularly playing senior men's cricket; this is fantastic news and signs of great progress. We are extremely proud of the group of players who made TSJ Women such a shining success for several years, and we wish them all well in their careers.

Tottington St John's Women was established in 2014 and at the time was the only team in the surrounding area fully catering for women and girls. The team played 20/20 and 40 over games throughout the summer as part of the new Lancashire Thunder League system. The team took part in regular home and away fixtures.

The team catered for all abilities, from county standard to beginners and juniors. We have previously been captained by ex-Lancs skipper Jasmine Titmuss, and featured county stars such as Charlotte Boulton and Australian star Meg Phillips. The final side featured a handful of county juniors playing alongside women returning to the game and those picking up a bat for the first ever time. We were a friendly, social team and extremely welcoming to players of all ages and abilities. The team boasted first class training facilities and enthusiastic coaches. Several of the girls also play in our senior men's sides in the GMCL.

The girls were coached by Bret Collins, and have previously been trained by England star Kate Cross, see poster below for details.
